Steinunn Helga is an Icelandic artist. She grew up in a small town in Iceland, surrounded by magnificent nature and animals. She has always perceived people, animals, the Earth and nature spirits as One.
A visual artist with a degree from the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts, Reykjavík, Iceland and The Academy of Fine Arts, Düsseldorf, Germany, Steinunn Helga has exhibited and participated in art events all over the world. Steinunn Helga lives in Denmark, where she founded the One Earth meditation group and co-founded The School of Creativity and Wisdom, the Synthesisgroup, the Art School Rammen, and the Gro- Academi.
She has made her love of and connection with the animal kingdom, plant kingdom and mineral kingdom a growing part of her life and art.
